S5 Geography Field Study - Cheung Chau

Our S5 Geography students went to Cheung Chau for an immersive fieldwork day, organised by The Caritas Chan Chun Ha Field Studies Centre. Focusing on urban sustainability, students applied practical fieldwork skills to assess real-world challenges like urban decay and land use conflicts.

Through hands-on surveys and streetscape analysis, students collected primary data, evaluated urban conditions, and explored sustainable solutions. This experience deepens their awareness of urban problems and the importance of sustainable development—turning classroom theory into meaningful, real-world understanding.
