Raimondi College Wind Orchestra — WMC Kerkrade 2026 Music Tour

Our Wind Orchestra has proudly returned from the World Music Contest (WMC) Kerkrade 2026 Youth Division, bringing home the Gold Award. Held once every four years and regarded as the “Olympics of Wind Music,” this prestigious competition represents the highest recognition for our ensemble and places Raimondi College on the international stage.

 

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to conductor Mr. Amos Lee for his inspiring leadership, and to our instrumental tutors, alumni, parents, and orchestra members for their dedication and support throughout this journey.

 

Beyond competition, our members visited the Caritas Elderly Centre in Bonn, sharing music with the elderly and bringing joy to the community. This reflects our belief that music is not only for contests, but also to serve and uplift others.

 

The tour also enriched students through cultural experiences, including visits to the Cologne Cathedral, Beethoven’s birthplace in Bonn, and the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam.

 

This achievement and journey embody our school motto In Constantia Fortitudo and our core values of love, unity, and perseverance.
